The portable and customizable treatment
A technique has been specifically developed to treat OAB using the principle of neuromodulation, offering affected women a straightforward and affordable treatment that does not require invasive surgery.
The technology behind FemPulse includes a vaginal ring that can be prescribed by a gynecologist and used by the patient in the comfort of her own home.
The ring can be controlled individually using an app and, depending on the doctor’s prescription, must be replaced after a maximum of 30 days. The vaginal ring, which the patient inserts herself, gently stimulates the nerves to alleviate the OAB symptoms. Independently programmable electrodes enable stimulation patterns that allow for a response that can be tailored to the needs of the women affected.
The portable device allows for continuous and discreet treatment without turning to surgery or implants: FemPulse’s pre-programmed software gives the patient immediate control via a personal hand-held device, thus offering complete flexibility to the patient, as well as the treating physicians. Different programming combinations mean the treatment can be individually adapted – tailored to the individual needs of the patient.
